SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, with Mark Lance and Arvia Willingham, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Shipp was born December 13, 1931 in Ada, Oklahoma. She married Glen D. Minyard on June 3, 1950 in Liberal, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1996. She later married Harmon Shipp on April 21, 2000 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2009. Barbara was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was a volunteer at the Clothing Room at the church. She worked for One Hour Martinizing for over 20 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed taking care of her family.SURVIVORS: daughter: Teresa Curfman and husband Kurt of Pampa; 2 granddaughters: Laura Blain and husband Wade of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, and Misty Minyard of Amarillo; 2 grandsons: B. J. Minyard of Pampa, and Michael Curfman and wife Ramona of Amarillo; 4 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ashley, Jordan and Lilie; 3 brothers: Kenneth Mullins of San Rosa Beach, Florida, Paul Mullins of Amarillo, and Allen Mullins of Canyon; 4 sisters: Joyce Mutchler and Janice Spurlock, both of Sunray, Margaret Marney of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Reva Thomas of Whitesboro; a nephew: Mike Tennison and wife Loria of Pampa; 2 stepsons: Donnie Shipp and wife Maxine of Wichita Falls, and David Harry and wife Maria of Montgomery.
