Delbert Walling

SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2011, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Walling was born April 4, 1934 in Ford County, Texas, to Arthur and Bunah Walling. He attended Pampa High School before serving in the U. S. Army. Delbert was a member of the Pipefitters Union #196 and the Moose Lodge. He married Judy Kiefer on November 4, 1974 in Pampa. Delbert enjoyed going to the casino and race track, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.SURVIVORS: wife: Judy Walling of the home; 2 daughters: Debbie Middleton of Pampa and Syd Cherie Virdell of Sierra Blanca; 2 stepdaughters: Brandy Ketchum and husband Larry of The Woodlands, and Brenda Crocker of Amarillo; a stepson: Benjamin Crocker of Pampa; 2 grandchildren: Will Hacker and Donnie Middleton. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers: Edgar Lankford, Jack Lankford and Jimmy Lankford.
