She came to Pampa in 1946 and attended Pampa schools. She married Howard Williams on October 14, 1960 in Pampa, and they had been married for 50 years. Patricia was a former volunteer and "Candy Striper" at Highland General Hospital for several years. She was an avid bowler and bowled in leagues for many years. She was a former member of Hi-Land Christian Church. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.SURVIVORS: husband: Howard Williams of the home; daughter: Susan Williams Schaffer and husband Dean of Midland; son: Randy Howard Williams and special friend Patricia Miller of Springtown; 2 brothers: Dickie Forkner and wife Jewel of Alta Vista, Kansas and Billy Forkner and wife Haley of Palmer, Alaska; a sister: Rhonda Hunt and husband Jim of Pampa; 5 grandchildren: Sgt. Brandon Schaffer of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, James Drew Williams of Springtown, Machelle Schaffer of Amarillo, Ashley Rose Williams of Canyon, and Morgan Schaffer of Midland; aunt: Lee Etta Ledford of Skellytown; 2 sisters-in-law: Nellie Williams of Amarillo and Loretta Williams of Ratliff City, Oklahoma; brother-in-law: Ralph Williams of Houston.
