SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, Texas with Rev. Kenny Rigoulot, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Pampa, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Batson was born Feb. 23, 1913 in Pampa and was a lifelong Pampa resident. She graduated from Pampa High School. She married Lloyde Batson on June 8, 1936 in Pampa. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pampa and loved working with children with special needs. She volunteered at Pampa Regional Medical Center for many years. Mrs. Batson spent the last few years at Park Place Retirement Center in Amarillo.SURVIVORS: 3 nieces: Mona Jeffries of Tyler, Georgia Kern and husband Dennis of Amarillo, and Macie LaFon and husband Bob of Houston; a nephew: Andy Burleson of Gruver; a great nephew: Terry Curtis and wife Rita of Durango, CO; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
