BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Malena was born January 22, 1950 in Pampa. She had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1967. She married Jerry Don Baten on September 22, 1967 in Pampa. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Malena was a homemaker and the owner of "All It's Charm" for 5 years. She also enjoyed selling Tupperware. She will be dearly missed by her family, especially her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: husband: Jerry Don Baten of the home; 2 sons: Brent Baten and wife Misty of Pampa, and Earnie Baten and wife LaDawn of Dumas; a daughter: Christin Chisum and husband Chris of Pampa; brother: Kelly Everson and wife Sonya of Pampa; sister: Delpha Cates and husband Doug of Pampa; 6 grandchildren: Destry Baten, Clay Baten, Jacey Baten, Blake Chisum, and Alyson Chisum, all of Pampa, and Sydnee Baten of Dumas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.MEMORIALS: Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 900 E. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065.
