SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, in Pampa, Texas, with Jimmy S. Weatherly, his brother, officiating. INURNMENT: Fairview Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Weatherly was born September 15, 1937 in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Lanny L. and Clementine Gibson Weatherly where he grew up and went to school. L. O. served in Germany with the "Hell on Wheels" Army unit out of Lawton, Oklahoma, and was honorably discharged in 1961. He was a former longtime resident of Pampa, and had been a resident of Tulsa since 1995, retiring in 2000 from First Maintenance Company. L. O. was a self-taught artist, and his number one passion was fishing. He loved music, ranging from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, to Blues and Jazz - he was an aficionado of music! He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother: Clementine Weatherly, his father: Lanny L. Weatherly; and a sister: Rosalie Weatherly Doucette.SURVIVORS: two brothers: Johnny Weatherly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jimmy Weatherly of Montgomery, Texas; four sisters: Leota Arthur of Tyler, Texas, Patricia Howard of Pampa, Texas, Sandra Roberson of Katy, Texas, and Susie Johnson of Edmond, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: Disabled American Veterans, National Headquarters, P.O.
