SERVICES: 1:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2011, at St. Mark CME Church, with Rev. Bob Davis, pastor of Progressive Baptist Church, and Rev. Raymond McKever, pastor of St. Mark CME Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Phea was born on May 18, 1907 in Denison. She attended schools in Pearson, Kansas. She came to Pampa in 1942 from Los Angeles. She married Joe Ben Phea on June 2, 1947 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1960. She worked as cook for Pampa Independent School District for over 26 years. Later she worked for the Tripplehorn family for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Phea was a long time member of Progressive Baptist Church, where she served as the church secretary and treasurer until her death, with over 60 years of service. In her spare time, she liked to travel and meet new people. She was a dedicated servant of God and she was ready to meet her Lord where she knew everything would be fine fine fine.SURVIVORS: 2 nieces: Frances A. Dorsey and family of Pampa and Lovia Payne of Akron, Ohio; 3 nephews: Danny Williams and family of Pampa, Jimmie Lee Johnson and family of McKinney, and Arthur Lee Ellis of Bloomington, Illinois; 4 great-nieces: Archileen Fuller of Waipahu, Hawaii, Cynthia Lemons and family, and Roxie D. Robinson and family, all of Pampa, and Edna Camel of Borger; a host of family and loyal friends, including: Martin Brookshire and Baby Sis - Mary Mack. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters: Willie Mae Neal and Eartha M. Williams. MEMORIALS: Progressive Baptist Church, 838 S. Gray, Pampa, TX 79065
