SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 21, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Watson of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Steele was born April 14, 1932 in Tipton, Oklahoma. She married Floyd Steele in 1948 in Graham. He preceded her in death in 2001. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Brethren. Renee loved to read her Bible and was a strong Christian woman.SURVIVORS: son: Preston Steele and wife Ana of Pampa; 4 sisters: Mary Grounds and husband Ray of Abilene, Bonnie Whittney of Odessa, LaWanda Lam of Alta Loma, California, and Peggy French; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Renee was preceded in death by a son: Floyd Earl Steele, Jr., and a brother: William Collett.
