SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, and Rev. Jeff Messer, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Trout was born April 30, 1925 in Brinkman, Oklahoma, to Joseph Clinton Kirby and Zelma Lee Morgan Kirby. She married Thomas Oliver Trout on January 5, 1946 in Wellington. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2001. They farmed in Greer County, Oklahoma until 1952 when they moved to Pampa. She was an accomplished seamstress, working in her home until 1966. She then worked for J. C. Penney, retiring in 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Laveta Mae Kirby; one brother: Clifton Lavon Kirby; a grandson: William Thomas Moss; and a nephew: Kale Lane Kirby.SURVIVORS: two daughters: Sharon Eileene Moss and husband Gary of Amarillo, and Karon Ann Bonnell and husband Jim of Pampa; a grandson: Charles Douglas Moss of Amarillo; and a granddaughter: Jennifer Rene Plunk and husband Michael of Pampa.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Abilene State School, 2501 Maple Street, Abilene, Texas 79602, or a favorite charity.
