Gary L. Coleman

SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2011, at the First Christian Church in Borger. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Coleman was born October 5, 1948 in Phillips, graduating from Phillips High School in 1967. He received an Associate's degree from Frank Phillips College. He had been a resident of Borger most of his life, moving to Pampa in 2009. Gary was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He married Pat Perry in November of 1972. He retired from Conoco Phillips as an operator after 38 years of service. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Borger. Gary was the best husband, father and grandfather, and was a special friend to many people.SURVIVORS: wife: Pat Coleman of the home; daughter: Karen Coleman of Pampa; brother: Kenneth Coleman and wife Sheri of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Coleman, Harper Coleman and Claire Gill, all of Pampa; 2 brothers-in-law: Robert Perry of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mike Perry of Borger.
