SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery with Captain Mark Martin of the Salvation Army, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Parks was born April 4, 1918 in Atonka, Oklahoma. She attended schools in Oklahoma, and was a longtime Gray County, Texas resident. She married Ray Parks on March 12, 1936 in Wheeler, and he preceded her in death on February 4, 1980. She was a homemaker and volunteered at the Salvation Army. She attended Salvation Army Church where she sang and played the organ. She enjoyed singing, telling stories and working crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Raymond Parks and wife Brenda of Pampa, and Randon Parks of Amarillo; a daughter: Wendy Burnett of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Rae Woods and Emma Mastella; and a son: Jessie Parks.MEMORIALS: Salvation Army, 701 S. Cuyler, Pampa, Texas 79065.
