SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2011, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Winborne was born November 18, 1932 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma and was a 1951 graduate of Kingfisher High School. She receives an Associate's degree from Oklahoma and Mechanical College on May 19, 1953, and received a B.S. degree in education from Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma on May 19, 1955. She was a Pampa resident for over 50 years. Evelyn taught typing, shorthand and business education at Pampa High School for many years before retiring in 1972. She married A. W. Winborne on September 5, 1970 in Pampa. She was a member of First Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: husband: A. W. Winborne of the home; 4 sons: Rodnie Winborne and wife Kathy and Danny Winborne and wife Susan, all of Pampa, Pat Prichard and wife Tami of Ransom Canyon, and Steve Prichard of Odessa; sister: Mary Beth Tyson and husband Al of Sun City, Arizona; 6 grandchildren: Kelly Cambern and husband John and Lisa King, all of Pampa, Will Winborne and wife Colbi of Panhandle, Matt Winborne of Houston, Shelby Prichard of New York City, and Carson Prichard of Lubbock, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Lorene Phillips. MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 621, Pampa, Texas 79066-0621.
