SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas with Rev. Blossom Matthews, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Garrett was born March 5, 1917 in Bluejacket, Oklahoma. She married Leo G. Garrett on Nov. 12, 1934 in Oswego, Kansas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2001. Mary Lea was a resident of Pampa for 44 years before moving to Pensacola to be near her son. She was a homemaker, realtor, and an accomplished artist. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pampa. Mary Lea was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sue Maher, her parents, two brothers, and a sister.SURVIVORS: Son: James Garrett of Fairhope, AL; sister: Earlene Snyder of Miami, OK; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: First United Methodist Church, P.
