SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Glen Walton, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Lee was born November 12, 1932 in Cimarron, Kansas. He married Atha Belle Steward on August 23, 1952 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1957. Armond was a minister of Hugoton, Kansas Church of Christ for 3 years. He worked for Citizens Bank & Trust for 26 years and was later the head custodian at Baker Elementary School in Pampa. He was a member and deacon of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. He taught many Bible classes at Oklahoma Street Church of Christ and Pampa Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: wife: Atha Belle Lee of the home; 2 daughters: Jenny Welch and husband Randolph and Linda Carlton and husband Marvin, all of Pampa; 4 sons: Mickey Lee of the home, Douglas Lee and wife Kellie of Burleson, Andy Lee of Pampa, and Robin Lee and wife Donna-Marie of Lake Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Armond was preceded in death by his parents: Jess Homer and Etta Pyrle Lee; a brother: Clarence Arnold Lee; and a sister: Darlene Cozadd.
