Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ousley was born February 21, 1921 in Dickens County. He grew up in Spur, graduating from Spur High School. Hansford married Billie Powell on April 21, 1940 in Spur. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2006. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II. He worked for over 50 years with Ideal Food Stores, Affiliated Foods, and Wright's Packing in Vernon. He was a member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF&AM, where in 1996, he received his 50-year pen. He was also a member of the El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory, the Khiva Shrine Temple, and was a longtime member of the Pampa Lions Club. He was a longtime member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. Hansford loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a blessing to his family and friends.SURVIVORS: daughter: Nancy Ramirez and husband Jamie of Tyrone, New Mexico; a son: Bobby Ousley of Pampa; brother: Ray Ousley and wife Wanda of Dumas; brother-in-law: Gordon Anderson of Lubbock; 2 grandsons: Jeffrey Neuburger and wife Shawn of Dallas, and Chad Howie and wife Nikki of Las Vegas, Nevada; a granddaughter: Jennifer Castaneda and husband Jorge of Benicia, California; 6 great-grandchildren: Taylor Howie and Lexie Howie, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jaden Neuburger of Dallas, Ria Castaneda, Julia Castaneda and Grace Castaneda, all of Benicia, California; a cousin: Hal Ousley and wife Lynette of Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Hansford was preceded in death by a daughter: Linda Neuburger; a brother: Joe Ousley, and a sister: Jean Anderson.
