SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Thompson was born September 5, 1916 in Margaret, Texas. She married Irwin Cooper in 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1965. She later married Bill Thompson in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1988. Jimmie had been a resident of Skellytown since 1942. She was a homemaker and later worked as a waitress at various cafes in Skellytown. Jimmie was a very faithful member of the Naomi Sunday School Class, where she attended the First Baptist Church of Skellytown after the Community Church closed. SURVIVORS: a sister: Lillie Mae Cooper of Denison; 1 grandson: Cary Meredith; many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in the Dallas area. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Jewell Thompson, Beattrice Hickman and Laverne Norris; 3 brothers: Leon Smallwood, Bill Smallwood and Robert Smallwood; 2 daughters: Dorothy Richardson and Jimmie Lanell; and 2 grandchildren: James Craig Richardson and Alesia Renea Stewart.
