Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Deaton was born November 9, 1931 in Beggs, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 2005, moving from Houston. He was an overland truck driver and security guard. Bill attended Central Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.SURVIVORS: nephew: Jim Hollingwood and wife Nancy of Pampa. He was preceded in death by a nephew: Bob Deaton; a brother: Jack Deaton; and a sister: Evelyn Hollingwood.
