She came to Groom in 2005 after living in Tyler for many years. She married Roy Aldy on Aug. 17, 2008 in Fort Worth. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Groom.SURVIVORS: Husband: Roy Aldy of the home; 2 sons: Tony Painter and wife Tina of Groom and Johnny Painter and wife Christina of Amarillo; a daughter: Nita Prince of Amarillo; 2 stepdaughters: Vivien Walker of Rockwall and Shirley Covington of Fort Worth; a sister: Shirley Sustaire and husband T. C. of Groom; a sister-in-law: Jackie Patterson of Canyon; 6 grandchildren: Christy Painter and Brady Painter, both of Groom, Sarah Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, and J. R. Jones, all of Amarillo, and David Allen David of Pampa; and 4 great grandchildren.
