SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, and memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Word of Life Church in Borger, with Pastor A. J. Griffin, associate pastor and son-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Mears was born September 30, 1942 in Red Hill Surry, England. She married John C. Mears in June of 1972 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1999. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1974, moving from Amarillo.SURVIVORS: daughter: Debbie Griffin of Sanford; 2 sons: Tim Trevathan of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, and Mark Trevathan of Pampa; brother: Paul Alstead of Amarillo; 2 sisters: Dorothy Trevathan of Amarillo and Virginia Walker of Amarillo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 stepsons: Jackey Mears and Johnny Mears, both of Pampa, and Ronnie Mears of Amarillo; 1 stepdaughter: Nancy Skeen of Amarillo.
