Gene was a resident of Tyler since 1980. He was a freelance court reporter in Tyler. Gene was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Richey Gene Havenhill and wife LeeAnn of Arlington and Michael "Scott" Havenhill of Lubbock; his mother: Berniece Havenhill of Pampa; 3 grandchildren: Christopher Ryan Havenhill of Austin, and Eric Colton Havenhill and Elizabeth Bailey Havenhill both of Ft. Worth; special friend: Peggie Falkner of Tyler. Gene was preceded in death by his father: Grady F.
