Richard Bartel, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ledbetter was born July 3, 1934 in Malvern, Arkansas. He married Lois Garner on December 8, 1953 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1954. He was a veteran of both the U. S. Army and U. S. Navy. Herman owned and operated H. L. Ledbetter Oilfield, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: wife: Lois Ledbetter of the home; daughter: Kathy Brecht of Amarillo; 2 sisters: Bessie Bernice Hoertsch of Amarillo, and Mary Louise Walker of Pampa; a brother: Lyndel Eugene Ledbetter of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Herman was preceded in death by his parents: Otis Sylvester and Florence Ledbetter; a grandson: Curry Brecht on March 14, 2002; 2 sons: Ronnie Ledbetter on November 9, 2009, and Donnie Ledbetter on April 29, 2010; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
