William Morris Brame

SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, December 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Skellytown, with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor, and Rev. Dale Berry of Bethel Baptist Church of Nocona, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Brame was born April 1, 1928 in Slick, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II. He married Joyce Marlene Eakin on March 2, 1951 in Stinnett. Morris had been a resident of Skellytown for over 50 years. He worked for Phillips Petroleum for 38 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Skellytown where he taught Sunday School for many years. He had a second birthday on July 25, 1988 with a liver transplant which was received from an organ donor, who was a gift from God.SURVIVORS: wife: Joyce Marlene Brame of the home; daughter: Pamela Berry and husband Rev. Dale Berry of Nocona; son: Bruce Brame and wife Debbie of Skellytown; 4 grandchildren: Kori Throckmorton and husband Josh of Tyler, Rhyan Nicole Sikorski and husband Jeff of Starkville, Mississippi; Jacob Brame and wife Brandi of Canyon, and Stephanie Berry of Nocona. Morris was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Mary Brame; a brother: Paul Brame; and a granddaughter: Bailey Brame.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church Youth Fund or Panfork Fund, P.O.
