Charles A. Buzzard

SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Harvest Fellowship Church in Pampa with Rev. C. W. Parker, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Buzzard was born May 12, 1951 in Borger to Mark and Mary Coffee Buzzard and came to Pampa in 1956. He was a 1969 graduate of Pampa High School and received a BS degree from West Texas State University in 1979 where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Charles was a licensed real estate broker and appraiser and was formerly chief appraiser for Wheeler and Gray Counties. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he loved and was loved by his church family at Harvest Fellowship Church in Pampa. He participated and preached on mission trips to Argentina, Peru, and Honduras. Charlie loved children and coached Little League for the Pampa Optimist Club for many years. He was a member of the Pampa Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Kim Buzzard.SURVIVORS: Two sisters: Cheri Ray and husband Randy of Shallowater and Jana Meyer and husband Kent of Canyon; a brother: Danny Buzzard and wife Becky of Round Rock; his grandmother: Evelyn Tingle of Mesquite; 4 nephews: Dane Kantro, Sean Ray, Colton Meyer, and Bryant Buzzard; 4 nieces: Taylor Meyer, Annika Buzzard, Nicole Buzzard, and Danielle Buzzard; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.MEMORIALS: Harvest Fellowship Church, P.
