SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 8, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church, officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Williams was born December 18, 1925 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He married Eleanor Fennell on March 31, 1950 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2002. J. D. retired from the U. S. Postal Service in Pampa on September 18, 1981 as the Postmaster. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II, and was a member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF&AM for over 50 years.SURVIVORS: son: Jeff Williams of Pampa; granddaughter: Rachel Dorsey and husband Travis of Houston; 2 great-grandsons: Connor Dorsey and Luke Dorsey, both of Houston. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Joyce Ann Laycock.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
