He received an associate's degree from Amarillo College. He was an RN for many years, and also a rancher for many years.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Julie Towles and husband Pete of Iowa Park, and Misty Singleton and husband Dustin of Little Elm; mother: Frances French of Pampa; brother: Lance French of Pampa; sister: Lainie Gollihugh of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren.
