SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, and memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Lane, pastor of United Methodist Church of White Deer, Officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Beck was born March 28, 1923 in Wellington, and she was a graduate of Mobeetie High School. She had been a lifelong resident of the Panhandle area. She married Alvis Painter on March 16, 1943 in Lake City, Florida. He preceded her in death in 1982. She later married R. W. Beck on July 27, 1984 in Lefors. He preceded her in death in 1998. Dortha was a homemaker. She lived her life for the Lord, and cherished her family.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: David Wayne Painter of Celeste, and Earl Painter and wife Marcia of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; 2 daughters: Donna Stafford of Grand Prairie, and Brenda Roach and husband Butch of White Deer; stepson: Bill Beck and wife Sherrie of Eunice, New Mexico; stepdaughter: Paula Schuman and husband Gary of Dumas; 13 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister: Jimmie McBain of Missouri. Dortha was preceded in death by 7 sisters; daughter-in-law: Patricia Painter; and son-in-law: Bill Stafford. MEMORIALS: St. Ann's Nursing Home, P.O.
