Patty Ruth Whinery

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Whinery was born January 26, 1932 in Anna, Illinois. She had been a resident of Glendale, Arizona most of her life, moving to Pampa in May of 2010. She married William Whinery on October 30, 1949 in Arizona. She enjoyed collectables and family photographs. She was a devout Christian. Patty had a wonderful sense of humor.SURVIVORS: husband: William Whinery of the home; 3 daughters: Vicki Price of San Antonio, Carlene Cournoyer and Linda Sickler and husband David, all of Pampa; a son: William Guy Whinery, II of Norman, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Patty was preceded in death by a brother: Russell Durall.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
