SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, September 30, 2010, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Parr was born March 25, 1947 in Washington, D.C. She married Roy Parr on March 15, 1975 in Sunray. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1984. Cherie was a certified nurse's aide and had worked at the Edward Abraham Memorial Home in Canadian for 4 years, and Pampa Nursing Center for 3 years. She was later employed by First Baptist Church for 8 years. Cherie was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: husband: Roy Parr of the home; son: Zach Parr and wife Angie of Pampa; 5 grandchildren: Kaden Shan, Malie Shan, Bryson Parr, Tyson Parr, and Jace Jones, all of Pampa; 2 sisters: Karen Hinz of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Sue Burkett of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews.
