SERVICES: Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, with Steve Huckins, a family friend, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Dykes was born October 25, 1919 in Herring, Oklahoma. Ann married Charlie C. Dykes on July 12, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1991. She had been a resident of Skellytown since 1943 moving to Wichita, Kansas in 2004. Ann worked for Furr's Cafeteria in Pampa for 15 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Skellytown. Ann brought a lot of joy and smiles to the people in the nursing home. She was considered by her family as a Proverbs 31 mom.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Tawanna Sinclair of Wichita, Kansas and Janice Covert of Westland, Michigan; 1 son: Charles E. Dykes of Skellytown; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
