BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Monk was born April 21, 1938 in Quitman, Georgia. He attended schools and farmed in Georgia until 1967 when he moved to Pampa. After moving to Pampa, he worked in the oilfields and attended the Pentecostal Church. In his spare time, David liked to fish.SURVIVORS: brother: Oneal Monk and wife Jean of Pampa; sister: Diane Lackey and husband Gordon of Lockhart; 5 nephews: David Boaz and wife Mary, Danny Boaz and Ricky Boaz, all of Lubbock, Ronnie Boaz and Asa Boaz and wife Cynthia, all of Pampa; niece: Linda Davis and husband Charlie of Pampa.
