Loren Gardner, retired Methodist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Meeks was born May 25, 1909 in Comanche County. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1957. She married David Smith, Sr. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1928. She later married Malcom Meeks on March 14, 1935 in Green Hill. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1978. Ola Mae was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Carolyn Gilbert of Pampa and Margaret Bain and husband Bill of Irving; 2 sons: Dr. David L. Smith and wife Gail of DeKalb, and Johnnie Meeks and wife Molly of Hereford; 2 sisters-in-law: Doris Meeks of New Boston, and Martha Stewart of Hobbs, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 grandsons: Walter Smith and Buster Smith; 1 sister and 5 brothers.MEMORIALS: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 511 N.
