Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Davis was born April 8, 1929 in Lake Creek, Oklahoma, moving to Pampa in 1952. He married Shirley Hunt on December 1, 1952 in Wheeler. Raymond owned and operated Davis Backhoe & Ditching since 1949. SURVIVORS: wife: Shirley Davis of the home; 2 sons: Eddie Ray Davis and wife Lucretia of Wheeler, and Buster Lee Davis and wife Maria of Pampa; a daughter: Shirlene Patterson and husband Danny of Tahoka; 2 sisters: Georgia Shay and husband Richard of Pampa, and Gwendolyn Sutton of Howardwick; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Northwest Texas Chapter, 3406 Manioca Road, Lubbock, Texas 79403.
