SERVICES: 10:30 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, and Pastor Randy Harris, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2010, at DeBolt Cemetery in Arnett, Oklahoma, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Shelly was born September 10, 1965 in Newton, Kansas. She went through the Pampa school system, graduating from Pampa High School in 1984. She attended Angelo University and Texas State University. Shelly worked for a law firm in Dallas for many years and worked for Barton Creek Resort in Austin for several years. She was a volunteer with the Tralee Crisis Center for Women. She loved being with her classmates; the "Eighties Ladies," Lori Stephens Barker, Laura Miller Covalt, Janice Brower Miner and Shannon Loter. The family offers special thanks to her cousin, Kim Whitson Droke, for her care and support, and also special thanks to the Interim Home Health and Hospice, as well as Odyssey Hospice.SURVIVORS: her parents: Delbert and Shirley Barker of Pampa; brother: Jimmy Barker and wife Lori of Pampa; grandmother: Lena Farris of Woodward, Oklahoma; niece: Brooklyn Barker of Pampa; nephew: Braydon Barker of Pampa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.MEMORIALS: Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
