She attended schools in Skellytown and graduated from Pampa High School in 1946. She married H. M. Killough on February 2, 1972 in White Deer. She worked as a stenographer, worked at Stanolind Oil & Gas, and worked at the Spudnut Shop for many years. She was a member of the White Deer Church of Christ, the White Deer Art Club, and was active in the White Deer Senior Citizens Center. Joyce loved to go camping with her husband. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.SURVIVORS: husband: H. M. Killough of the home; daughter: Jeannie Slocum and husband David of Round Rock; 3 stepdaughters: Sherry Hampton and husband Dennis of Jay, Oklahoma, Karen Kay Martin and husband Darrel of Donaldson, Arkansas, and Deborah Chandler and husband Charlie of Pampa; sister: Judie Canard and husband Greg of Bakersfield, California; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
