SERVICES: Inurnment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Flynn was born November 24, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Lita M. Apodoca on April 3, 1964 in Eufaula, Alabama. His beloved wife preceded him in death on March 11, 2001. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1976. Gordon was a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, serving as their Union president, and retiring in 1999. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired after 20 years of service in 1975. He was a member of the elite Wolf Hounds. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. SURVIVORS: son: Steve Rael of Merritt Island, Florida; daughter: Helen Rael of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 3 grandchildren: Tony Campbell and wife Lynda of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Jim Campbell and wife Sherri of Mansfield, and John Campbell of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; 5 great-grandchildren: Josh Campbell, Jona Campbell, Chris Campbell, Rachael Stubbs, and Kymber Campbell.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
