SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery in Sayre, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bobby Glassey, her son, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Glassey was born April 6, 1928 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She married R. V. Glassey on May 19, 1946 in Gem City, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1983. She had been a resident of Chickasha since 1974. Bernadine was passionate about reading her Bible and working crossword puzzles. She was always there for her family when they needed her, and she gave many years of patience, understanding and guidance.SURVIVORS: 4 daughters: Patricia "Ann" Glover and husband Loyd, Jessie Rush and husband Robert, and Valonda Richardson and husband Jay, all of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Frances Threadgill and husband John of Pampa, Texas; a special adopted daughter: Verllie "Little Bit" Perez; 2 sons: Bobby Lee Glassey and wife Lisa of Marshall, Texas, and Rusty Glassey of Chickasha, Oklahoma; special friends: Clarence and Wanda Wright; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
