SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Miami, with Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McIntosh was born August 15, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, to Nadene "Joan" Webb Sutton and John A. Sutton, Sr. She had been a resident of Monmouth, Illinois since the age of nine, attending Lincoln Elementary, Central Junior High and Monmouth High School. She graduated from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois, with an AAS degree in early childhood education. She married Gary McIntosh on June 7, 1975 in Monmouth. She later met and married Robert E. Hooten on September 22, 2008. SURVIVORS: her husband: Robert Hooten of the home; 1 son: David "Mac" McIntosh of Macomb, Illinois; 3 daughters: Traci Lyn Vasquez and husband Nick of Monmouth, Illinois, Sarah LeAnn McIntosh of Zephyrhills, Florida, and Jenna Kay McIntosh of Miami; a brother: John Sutton, Jr., of Arlington; a sister: Shelby Jo Logsdon and husband Buck of Goodwell, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren: Alexis, Abigale and Sebastian, all of Monmouth, Illinois, Qixalia and Alekzandr, both of Zephryhills, Florida, and Paige of Miami; many nieces and nephews; and her good friends: Kathleen A. Broderick of Omaha, Nebraska, and Carrie Wood of Fritch. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law: Gene McIntosh; a sister: Pamela D. Strange; niece: Cassiday Jo Dean; 2 grandsons: Keegian Ross Howard and Ian Richard Vasquez; and her sister-in-law and friend: Janie Blanton.
