Calvin Roy Cargill

Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Cargill was born July 8, 1938 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Roy Lee and Alice Tackett Cargill. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Calvin had been a resident of Pampa since 1943, working at various grocery stores for many years. He was a member of Hobart Baptist Church. He was a happy and kindhearted person who loved his family very much. All of those who knew Calvin liked him and enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. SURVIVORS: a sister: Ketta Langley of Springdale, Arkansas; a brother: Jerry Woodward of Amarillo; 2 aunts: Gloria Marlar and Ora Mae Hedrick, both of Pampa; an uncle: J. A. Tackett of Amarillo; 2 nephews: Greg Cargill and Rodney Cargill, both of Amarillo. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: James R. Cargill.
