SERVICES: Vigil will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 28, 2010, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Portillo was born May 15, 1964 in Cd. Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico, to Mario and Ramona Portillo. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1971, where he attended Pampa schools. He loved painting and remodeling houses. Mario also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was always caring to those around him.SURVIVORS: son: Mario Antonio; 2 daughters: Crystal and Kimberly; his parents: Mario and Ramona Portillo; 2 brothers: Felipe Portillo and Ernesto Portillo; 2 sisters: Patricia Cabrales and Hermelinda De La Torre; 2 grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
