Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Preston was born January 18, 1962 in Long Beach, California. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1966, graduating from Pampa High School in 1980. She attended West Texas A&M University. After college, she worked for Dr. Soriano and Dr. Shaffer as well as the Family Medicine Center, and later worked for Gray County Appraisal District. She married Ronnie Preston in 2008 in Pampa. Janet was a Methodist and was currently attending Briarwood Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and being socially active with her friends and community. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter and friend.SURVIVORS: husband: Ronnie Preston of the home; 2 step daughters: Aleisha Williams of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Amber Preston of the home; father: DeWayne Hill of Pampa; brother: Travis Hill and wife Shonda of League City; a step granddaughter: Savannah Williams of Owasso, Oklahoma; niece: Tasha Hill of League City.
