SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Tim Roberts, a Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Brewer was born July 11, 1941 in Ecourse, Michigan. He attended Pampa schools. He married Dorothy Musick on April 11, 1972 in Pampa. Troy worked for Serfco for 10 years as a mechanic and shop foreman. He owned and operated Gray County Trading Post for 6 years. He loved being with his four-legged companion "Shy." Troy was a self-taught mechanic and he enjoyed working on cars for friends and relatives in his spare time. He especially loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: wife: Dorothy Brewer of the home; 7 daughters: Angie Brewer and significant other Sarah Medley, Rhonda Hagan and husband Van, Melinda Brewer, Alisha Stroud and husband Greg, Becky Willis and husband Lynn, Staci Proctor and husband Tim, and Vicki Lesher and husband Tim, all of Pampa; 1 son: Troyce Brewer and wife Michelle of Pampa; son-in-law: R. K. Blalock; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: his twin, Roy Brewer of McLean, Charles Brewer and wife Margaret of Mount View, Arkansas, and Bobby Brewer of Mineral Wells; 2 sisters: Charlene Havron and husband Rondel, and Mary Alice Stanley, all of Mount View, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends, including Donnie Wood and Donna Murphy. Troy was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Mitzie Blalock; and 2 grandsons: Tanner Woodruff and Jimmie Blalock.MEMORIALS: Briarwood Church, 1800 W.
