SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, with Mike Darsey, her nephew, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Purcell was born December 28, 1929 in Wichita Falls, where she graduated from Wichita Falls High School. She attended Oklahoma A&M University. She married David Purcell on August 21, 1979 in Dallas. Norma moved to Pampa in 1983 to take over the family ranch after the death of her father. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wichita Falls. She enjoyed playing bridge, crafts and especially trout fishing.SURVIVORS: husband: David Purcell of the home; a son: Don Taylor and wife Debbie of Pampa; her brother: Les Darsey of Alanreed; and a nephew: Mike Darsey of Alanreed.
