Stephen Lewis Vinson

SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Calvary Assembly of God, with Rev. Willard Kiper, chaplain of Texas Department of Corrections, Jordan/Baten Units, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Vinson was born March 28, 1949 in Dalhart. He attended schools in Perryton and Odessa. He owned Vinson Oilfield Service for several years, was a welder for Arthur Brothers, and was a welding instructor in Edmond, Oklahoma. Stephen was a great welder. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.SURVIVORS: 3 sisters: Cheryl Vinson and Terry Searl, both of Pampa, and Kelly Richey of Amarillo; 5 brothers: Jeff Vinson of Pampa, Scott Vinson of Amarillo, Tracy Vinson and Jimmy Vinson, both of Austin, and David Vinson of Seabrook. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Henry A. Vinson; and 2 sisters: Karla Cho and Julie Vinson.MEMORIALS: Trinity Fellowship, 2225 N. Hobart, Pampa, Texas 79065.
