Monett Treadwell Jenkins

SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Miami, with Bill Burkholder, officiating. BURIAL: Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jenkins was born November 28, 1935 in Wheeler. She married Donald Jenkins on July 10, 1956 in Wheeler. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2006. She had been a resident of Miami since 1956, moving to Duncan, Oklahoma in 2009. Monett was a member of the First Baptist Church of Miami where she taught Sunday School and was the church pianist for many years. She loved spending time in her garden and spending time with her family. She enjoyed feeding the quail and deer that lived around her home. SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Kenneth Jenkins and wife Lahree, and their children Brad, Jacci and Ryan, all of Comanche, Oklahoma, and Kevin Jenkins and wife Janice, and their children Zack and Noah, all of Brentwood, Tennessee; 3 brothers: James "Shots" Treadwell of Colorado City, Bobby Treadwell and wife Betty of Canyon, and David Treadwell and wife Kathy of Granbury; 2 sisters-in-law: Noreta Treadwell of Pampa and Betty Treadwell of Groom; numerous nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, 114 E.
