SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Ed Barker, pastor of Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hollowell was born November 14, 1914 in Mobeetie. She married Robert Hollowell on August 4, 1934 in Cordell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1988. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1944. She was a member of Highland Pentecostal Holiness Church. Gladys was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She loved her church and worshipping the Lord.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Rosalie Spies of Amarillo, and Kathy Irvin of Pampa; daughter-in-law: Shirley Hollowell; 4 granddaughters: Karen Clark and Cindy Cotton, both of Monte Vista, Colorado, Kristi Pickett and Lisa Jones, both of Perryton; 4 grandsons: Johnny Hollowell of Buena Vista, Bill Hollowell of Booker, Robert Jones and Liberty Bloxom, both of Pampa; 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bob Hollowell, in 2007, son-in-law, Randy Spies, nine sisters and brothers. MEMORIALS: Senior Village Nursing Home, 3101 S.
