Doug DuBose, retired minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Homer was born April 12, 1917 in Rhineland. He attended schools and graduated from Rhineland High School. He married Patricia Crewdson on August 20, 1947 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on November 22, 1998. He later married Louise Brown on April 24, 1999 in Pampa. At the beginning of World War II, he built B-24 bombers, and then joined the U. S. Army Air Corps in 1943. Hub moved to Pampa in 1957 from Hereford. He worked in retail for many years, and was the owner and operator of Hub's Booterie, retiring in 1991. He was a longtime member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church where he was very active in the Knights of Columbus. He later became a member of First Baptist Church. After his retirement, Hub became an avid golfer and gardener.SURVIVORS: wife: Louise Homer of the home; a son: Patrick Homer and wife Ann Danowitz of Sonoita, Arizona; 2 daughters: Paula Homer and husband Rick Hoefer of Flower Mound, and Pam Homer and husband James Taylor of Santa Fe, New Mexico; stepdaughter: Gayle Brown of Pampa; stepson: Fred Brown and wife Carol of Pampa; brother: Phillip Homer and wife Helen of Munday; sister: Helen Hall of Akron, Colorado; 1 granddaughter: Destiny. Hub was preceded in death by 2 brothers: K.W. Homer and Al Homer; and 3 sisters: Sophie Homer, Sister Geraldine, and Paula Brady. MEMORIALS: Pampa Senior Citizens, 500 W.
