Tom Stribling, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating.BURIAL: Mobeetie Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Johnston was born on April 7, 1918 in Welch, Oklahoma to Charles and Daisy Ross. She had been a resident of Pampa for the past 20 years and was a former longtime Mobeetie resident. Lucy married Henry Johnston in 1950 in Wheeler. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mobeetie. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Mary Chesher and husband John Alvin of Pampa; 6 grandchildren: Tammy Stevens and husband Jeff and Kevin Chesher and wife Julie, all of Pampa; Krista Carver and husband Grant of Carrollton, Shelley Malone of Wheeler, Erika Morgan of Amarillo, and Keadron Morgan of Lubbock; and 8 great grandchildren.
