SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, with Rev. Kenny Rigoulot, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sanders was born December 19, 1920 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Bernard and Molly Sanders. He married Ermalee Vandruff in 1947. He enlisted in the U. S. Army Air Corps in 1942 and was a fighter pilot. Glenn had a great love for flying. He received his Associate Degree from Pawnee Junior College in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma A & M University and Texas Tech University. He went to work for Skelly Oil in 1948 in Lyman, Oklahoma. He transferred from Carter Nine Skelly Camp in Oklahoma to Pampa in 1959. Glenn retired from Skelly Oil in 1975 and began traveling with his wife the world over. He was a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the First Presbyterian Church.SURVIVORS: wife: Ermalee Sanders of the home; one niece: Gwen Hathaway; special friends: Sam and Jan Haynes. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. MEMORIALS: Book of Remembrance, First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Gray, Pampa, TX 79065.
