SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Rev. Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Union Hatchett Cemetery in Bessie, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jessie Musick of First United Pentecostal of Clinton, Oklahoma, officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Musick was born on May 16, 1938 in Elk City, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma schools. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on Jan. 27, 1956 and served for over 3 years. Bobby lived in Clinton, Oklahoma for several years before moving to the Pampa area in 1979. He worked as a plumber and maintenance supervisor for the Pampa Mall and Coronado Center. Bobby was a man who made changes in his life, and made a goal to help others strive for a difference in their own lives by one-on-one mentoring and public speaking. His credo was the "Serenity Prayer" which says "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference."SURVIVORS: 1 son: Darwin Musick of Monticello, Arkansas; 2 daughters: Kathy Tinney and husband Don of Lefors and Pam Franks and husband Steven of Lefors; 3 grandsons: Johnathon Tinney and Devan Franks, both of Lefors, and Dustin Musick of Monticello, AR; and by 4 granddaughters: Jonelle Coombes, Brooke Franks, and Madison Franks, all of Lefors, and Carrie Johnson of Monticello, AR; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; and numerous brothers and sisters. Bobby was preceded in death by a son, Gene Terrell Musick, by his father, Carl Lee Music, and by his mother, Jessie Hubbard.
