SERVICES: 2:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2010, at First United Methodist Church, with John Curry, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Esson was born August 26, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Ruth Muller. She graduated from Watervliet High School in Watervliet, Michigan in 1940. She married Ralph Esson on July 1, 1946 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1984. She moved to Texas in 1950, and had been a resident of Pampa since 1952. Lillian was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a retired librarian from the Pampa Independent School District. She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi. Lillian was a Red Cross swim instructor, and she enjoyed swimming, reading and she loved dogs. The family would like to thank her doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their tender care.
